Alleviating poverty, building futures
Onechild Ghana is a not for profit, international development organisation set up by Jamie and Darren Belnikoff initially to support one ICCES centre (Baworo) where Jamie spent several months working as a volunteer in 2002.
In 2006/07 other former ICCES volunteers (Martin Gaunt, Ben Cummings, Dr Robert Palmer and Ollie More) decided to join Onechild Ghana. As a result, it was decided to expand the scope of Onechild Ghana to cover all 13 centres in the Ashanti Region. All of the Onechild Ghana team maintain regular contact with both students and teachers in Ashanti ICCES in Ghana.
