Bread making
Challenge
Students at Kokoben ICCES had no bread to eat during their school day. Kokoben ICCES is located in a very remote part of rural Ghana and there was no bread to buy in the nearest village.
Solution
Onechild Ghana bought all the necessary equipment to set up a bread making course at the school so that students could bake their own bread and have food to eat.
Impact
Not only have students learned a valuable skill (how to bake bread), they now also have food to eat.
What’s more, they’ve been able to sell the bread in the nearby village, creating much needed income for the school while developing business skills too.
