Kokoben ICCES
Toilets
Challenge
Kokoben ICCES did not have decent toilet facilities. Students had to use a very basic toilet room or alternatively, they made use of the nearby bushes.
Solution
In partnership with Hasmonean High School (UK), Onechild Ghana provided the funds to renovate and expand the existing toilet block for both boys and girls.
Impact
The project is genuinely life-changing. Students at Kokoben ICCES now have somewhere safe and clean to go to the toilet during their school day. It is also now a much more attractive school for students to want to study at too.
