Challenge
Wadie ICCES is one of our newer schools – established in 2016 and has already had an influx of students keen to learn. However, the school was being held back due to a lack of infrastructure with only 3 classrooms in total. This meant that lessons would often take place outdoors.
Solution
Onechild Ghana built an extra classroom specifically designed for practical lessons.
Impact
The project has had an immediate impact with learning conditions already hugely improved. Students can now be confident that bad weather will not stop their lessons taking place.
The workshop has also attracted new students, generating much needed income for the school through additional school fees.
